Hmmm, Tommy. That's ALOT of points. If this were a gambling site I'd snatch that spread up without hesitation. Pioneers on a long road trip, in a strange environment, following two straight losses, against a team that has been relatively "hot" to finish their season (2 of 3 wins in last 4 games- lost to the KVC co-champs by a combined 17 points).

Haha, gotta love HS football. We'll know more in a few hours.

Howell over Jackson (by 12)- Howell has played extremely well all year and now they face a team that might have been a challenge had many of them NOT been kicked off the team following last weeks brawl. Highlanders likely start substituting players after the half.

Stevenson over Brighton (by 17)- Brighton guys will have their equipment checked in immediately following the game. I think this...

Probably not best to tell someone to SPELL something properly and follow it up with a misspelled word "loseing". Just a word to the wise. I don't think anyone is cutting down Lakeland. I've mostly seen praise and general support from most people. Good luck to your Eagles.

This is humorous Lakeland begins to establish winning ways and a solid program, and people continue to cut them down, i'm not having any problem dealing with their winnnig record, only giving credit where credit is due, and to where it is not, KLAA isn't even from Lakeland, so go blow your whistle at somebody from Lakeland (like me and others) for disrespecting our name, school, and program over an online FORUM (can you read) and please i'm assuming you've completed some...

If you READ my post I did not give credit for their season. I give credit to a program that schedules competitive opponents with a combined 15-1 record. Unlike a (certain) teams that schedules opponents with combined 1-15.

ColonelKVC I would have to agree with you, although this years Lakeland team has a few things the 06' verson didnt. Such as a better offensive line, and a much quicker defense overall. Howell over Jackson Team turmoil at JHS leaves them short in players and competitiveness. Most teams would find a tough task in lining up vs. Howell right now, let alone missing eleven varsity players. This game is over early.

Mark my words, should the Highlanders keep their edge and avoid turnovers, they're gonna make a big run in the playoffs.

All the Jackson players have not been publicly identified, but several have come forward and identified themselves as being suspended. Two very good defensive starters are among the 11, and I'm sure many more starters are among the suspended group.

Howell should have a pretty easy tune-up because of the brawl.
