KVCcya: I was just refering to this year for the powerhouse's. Because normally I would have to say the powerhouse's of the KVC are Brighton, South Lyon, and Novi year-in and year-out.

I think what Past Back was saying here cya is that normal "powerhouse" programs just didn't live up to the hype this year, Novi would not fall in this category, read closely, were not very dominating....

Haven't heard any excuses from me? I knew Arshaun wasn't %100 when I walked into te game, but I didn't think it would make TOO much of a difference. I think Novi's coach summed it up best, too many turnovers and too many blown coverages = the result that was witnessed. Stevenson was the better team and Novi had little room for error if they wanted to actually BEAT Stevenson. I'm confident that I will clearly remember that in the year 2007, Stevenson was a few...

I agree with you TOMMYZ, well said, maybe Hall would have scored Novi a TD or two, but impact the outcome of the game, doubt it. Who actually is 100% on the feild by this point in the season anyways, the kids standing on the sidelines are and that should be it, everyone must play through injury, like tommyz said lets not make excuses for Novi here (not saying you cya), they just got beat regardless of Hall being below 100%.

I get a kick out the the whole, if Arshaun Hall were healthy thing...Would it of made a difference? Maybe....How about Stevenson's QB not being healthy? You guys know he is not 100% right? Maybe if he was healthy the score would not have been so close.....

Novi is a very good team, but got beat...Dont make excuses..Im sure the team would not make excuses.

First off without a doubt the overall power of the KVC this year was low. The normal powerhouse's (Brighton, Milford, South Lyon) were not very dominating at all this season. Not to diss-credit ANY of the KVC running backs but only a couple names stood out for me this year. Running backs like Novi's Arshaun Hall was a very good back in the KVC, however as KVCplayer56 said, it's also impressive how Lakeland fielded a couple of 5"5, 150 lb backs and had very good success. even if the running backs from last year did diminish, which they didnt we probably had more this year than last, Docherty still put up just as much as taylor did last year, sorry i lied he was...

I dont think it would be to crazy or take anything away from Stevenson to say if Hall was at 100% he could have EASILY impacted the game, at least somewhat.....

Really? I missed the memo where Arshaun Hall wasnt 100% healthy, what was wrong with him? He was without a doubt, a major contributor to Novi and one of their best "game changing", "play-makers".

yeah, Novi was definetly NOT playing to their strength. They pass ALOT compared to many teams, but passing 65% of the time isn't their game. I showed up to watch football, and ended up seeing a track meet. It was 14-7 when I walked in the door at 7:20-something....and Novi scored less than a minute later. Crazy game.

westernlakesdominate, As I said EARLIER it doesn't matter. I said Stevenson was the better team, I said Stevenson "Handled" Novi. Stevenson DIDN'T turn the ball over, Novi did 4 times. It was a fantastic game till the third quarter. I believe it was 35-14 before Novi scored again. The best player on the field was #23 Austin White..He did everything..Ran very well when he had the ball and caught 2 touchdowns and ran 1..I know someone put that they did not run well but if I remember right, Stevenson had over 100 yards rushing easy..Maybe im wrong but statman will know..

The one thing I was totally shocked about was how many passes were thrown between both teams.. I...
