Howell over Jackson (by 12)- Howell has played extremely well all year and now they face a team that might have been a challenge had many of them NOT been kicked off the team following last weeks brawl. Highlanders likely start substituting players after the half.

Stevenson over Brighton (by 17)- Brighton guys will have their equipment checked in immediately following the game. I think this is a season they'll like to leave behind. Sorry Dawgs, too inconsistent this year. Spartans have a special season going. The playoffs will be where they have to validate their season and title of WLAA Champ.

Milford over Pinckney (by 9)- Speaking of teams who just want to get the season over with. Milford has been the biggest dissapointment of the season in the KVC. Alot of talent, very little results. Did the Mavs rest on their laurels and think they just had to show up? Pinckney, the news isn't much better for you. Two things should make you feel better going into next year 1) you keep getting better. 2) you no longer have South Lyon and Novi on your schedule.

Novi over Northville (by 8)- The battle for the Baseline Jug, ah yes. Novi has had a stranglehold on this trophy since 2001. Could they be ripe for an upset from their old rival Northville? The Mustangs have had a tough year, decimated by key injuries and fighting for their footing as a result. N-Ville got their 1st win of the season just last week and will try to virtually "make their season" on Friday. Novi will need to build an early lead, and try to avoid any injuries.

Hartland over Dearborn (by 2)- I too see this as a potential "upset". Dearborn knows nothing about Hartland, other than their 3-5 record. I sense that they think the are playing a sub-average team, and I think it will cost them dearly. The Dearborn coaches better have these kids ready to play, because I think Hartland knows they can make a statement on behalf of themselves and the KVC by knocking out a playoff contender . Hartland has been improving week after week and making some noise. They will be an interesting team to watch next year.

Lakeland over Walled Lake Northern (by 13)- Lakeland has nothing left to prove..... this week, except that they are heads and shoulders above WLN. The proving they need to do, starts a week from Friday. This is a tune-up game for the Eagles. Could WLN win? Sure, but only if Lakeland forgets what got them to this point. I don't see their Coach (Maltese) allowing that to happen.

South Lyon over Saline (by .5)- A very strange turn of events out of the Lions in 2007. I was going to pick Saline but I have to believe Coach Thomas can squeeze another win out of this talented team. Dissapointing year for the Lions, not so much the record, but more so, the ease at which key games seemingly got out of hand. Saline needs this game as badly as the Lions, so expect this one to come down to the wire. Saline is traditionally a solid team, but the KVC is a deep conference.
